On Episode 89 of the Adorned Podcast we discuss Matthew chapters 11 and 12. In these chapters we see Jesus giving the reminder to “keep the main thing the main thing.” In a world full of distractions it’s so easy to lose sight of what’s truly important, but Jesus is reminding us to look at Him.

“Keep the main thing the main thing.”

“Jesus is so gracious to say: when it feels heavy, come to me.”

“Jesus is giving us an example of a humble life, but His humble life is serving.”

“Jesus is saying come to me to get rest and then extend that to others.”

“The problem is not that the Pharisees observe the Sabbath, but that they misinterpret it and turn what should be a delight into a burden” -Reformation Study Bible Note

“How many times are we more worried about everything around us, but don’t really see the people right there?”

“Make war on sin and work against the deeds of darkness knowing that ultimately Satan submits.” -Jen Wilkin

“The purpose of the miraculous is to increase the faith of the faithful.” -Jen Wilkin
