Speaker 8: them to real repentance. And it seems from what we

Speaker 8: read in the Bible that that's exactly what happened. After

Speaker 8: Joseph's brothers were released from jail, they said to each

Speaker 8: other in verse twenty one, quote, surely we are being

Speaker 8: punished because of our brother. We saw how distressed he

Speaker 8: was when he pleaded with us for his life, but

Speaker 8: we didn't listen. That's why this distress has come upon us.

Speaker 8: Well, if you think back a few episodes, the Bible

Speaker 8: all face trials, betrayals, and heartache. But like Joseph, we

Speaker 8: of it all with the perfect plan of redemption. Second,

Speaker 8: let's pursue reconciliation. Think about the people have hurt you.
