Episode 77: Celebrating Two Years of In No Hurry with Singer/Songwriter Ryan Ahlwardt

What an honor it is this week to celebrate two years since the In No Hurry Podcast launched! This has been such a fun creative outlet for me, and I am grateful for everyone who has listened along the way. If you've been around since the beginning, I want to give an extra special shout out to you! You're a real one.

This week I get to welcome back my good friend Ryan Ahlwardt, who not only is the artist behind the show's theme music, but he was also my very first guest way back in November 2019. He also joined me last year as we celebrated the podcast's first year of existence. Every time we talk, it's such a life-giving conversation, and I'm so grateful for his friendship support of the show. When we talk, we really get to the heart of what this show is all about — the intersection of faith and creativity.

Ryan has been making music for most of his life, and most notably was a member of the popular a capella group Straight No Chaser. He has since left to pursue other ventures, as we've covered in previous conversation, and has added even more to his plate since we last talked. He and his former SNC band mate and high school friend Mike Luginbill started their own side music project called Small Town City, he released his own 90s cover album this year, and he recently became a co-host for IndyNow, a morning lifestyle show on Fox 59 in Indianapolis. He has also gotten some really cool opportunities in the world of voiceover work, as you'll hear him talk about in this conversation.
